There were no template changes that are affected by the Steel Style between RC3 and Gold. I'll upload one called Gold in a moment.

Rep Power: 0 | Ok here a few probs i can see. I installed steelbrightblue and the bottom bar is smaller than the top. I didnt have any problems with the other steel variants i installed. the other issue is when I installed the steel product the username at the top right show up twice. There a smaller file in the steel blue rc3 zip that works which is 13k smaller. Attached a pic so you can see what i mean. cheers Travis

Rep Power: 10 | Hi Travis, It looks like I might have an issue with the Products. With the new convention of having the Username linked, I had to take it out of the Product. Steel Bright Blue is the only one with the issue?

Rep Power: 10 | Try making Bright Blue a child Style of one that is working, then reverting the navbar template and let me know if it fixes it.

Rep Power: 0 | Tried that didnt work sorry, it was actually one of the first things I tried. Heres a problem one of my members just picked up. When using the search in the navbar you get Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error. does this in every steel skin, search works fine in the vb default skin. Cheers

Rep Power: 10 | This is weird. I don't get Security errors here using the distro Steel Bright Blue style. Are you certain you are using a freshly-uploaded version?

Rep Power: 0 | yes mate, paid and installed just today. i only just upgraded our forum to vb 3.7 today and wanted the latest steel styles possible. I deleted all old steel styles off and started from scratch with no luck. Last edited by Arcade King; 05-04-2008 at 07:15 PM.

Rep Power: 10 | Sounds like the postbit is on legacy, when they are used to the horizontal. I understand, that's something many people have commented on, on the vB forums. Its the price you pay for having userinfo in the side of posts. More info, higher the minimum post height becomes.

Rep Power: 0 | I guess I'm a bit confused too, was the new steel styles designed that way? If I select the default VB skin all the usernames etc at still at the top but if I select any steel style they are on the left. thanks for your time.

Rep Power: 10 | That's right, the features of the 3.7 styles are in the Legacy postbit. I'm working on a way to display them in a similar format in the standard postbit that doesn't make it too large, but for now, if you want to revert the postbit template, you will get the standard style back.

Rep Power: 0 | Nah its cool, while I do agree its takes up a lot of space and even more because of the amount of mods I have installed I don't mind it. Once i have ironed out the bugs on the forum I will reenabled the default skins and people who don't like it can choose that. I look forward to having the standard way back in steel though Thanks for all your help.
