Forum Status Icons Horizontal
Rounded top and bottom corners
Easily configured Javascript counter displaying time since forum launch on Forum Home
Greeting conditional on day of week and time of day
Custom Statusicon, Icons, Buttons and several misc images

Forum/Thread name in table at top of page in FORUMDISPLAY and SHOWTHREAD

To install: Upload /images/ folders to your /forums/ directory.

If you want to use the Steel Icons, overwrite your existing /images/icons directory with the included ones.

Import the xml files in your Style Manager.

Import the plugin file in your Plugin manager.

Edit the forumid of the top of forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost to that of your topmost forum.

If you are running vBadvanced, add $nzbgreeting and $nzbgreeting2 to the Globalized Variables section of the vBA Admin CP area.

Your license lasts for life (not 30 years as is stated in the Ordering section...silly vB only goes about that high.)

I love this series of styles. I am currently using all of them and my users love them too. Are you going to make any other colors? I would like to see a black one and a white one.

Good chance. I am trying to get around to something a little different, but colour variations are always good.

I *should* do the whole spectrum, plus Black and White. That's like 9. 4 down. 5 to go.

I am still in the process of finishing them off, but if you read this thread (Steel Bright Blue and Steel Gold available to Customers!), you will see where they can be obtained.

They are available to all people with a Paid license for the Steel Series - Branding Free or PSD Pack owners

The styles are great. The only thing they are missing is the "Open/Close" category icons and functions.

I have many forums on my site and my users like to close the categories that they are not interested in. Can't do it with your styles.

I think it is something I did wrong in my style.

Looks like you need to fully qualify the path to your images in the AdminCP.

Log In problems..Steel Purple

Sorry I had to post a reply to this, but I do not have permission to start a new thread.

We recently updated and we are using Steel Purple. Our members absolutely love the new look and are looking forward to more colors.

Unfortunately, we are having odd problems of member not able to log on. We have sent them new passwords, but still they are not able to log on using their old username. We have lost a few members due to the frustration, and we have several other disgruntled members. Any ideas of what may be going wrong or maybe our settings aren't right?

Okay the exact problem is this: sign my user name and password and it will thank me for logging in and then redirect me to the sign in page.

This is happening to more than a few members. What should we do?

Update: The users are now able to get to the general forum page, but they get bumped back to logon when they try to view a specific thread. Also, I noticed that quite a few of these members use aol. Would that have an effect?
