Alrighty then.. glad it's working for you now.

You want to center the Category Description?

forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost (I think) .. search for "title" and change the alignment of it.

Problem with vBAdvanced

I've just installed the Steel Blue style on my vB 3.6.8, and I have an issue on my vBadvanced page.

You can see the pictures attached, one is the portal homepage and the other is the forum's homepage.

The problem is one the portal's home, the navbars are messed up and the colors are not right (I think).

I've globalized the two variables $nzbgreeting and $nzbgreeting2 in vBAdvanced.

Thanks for the help.

Hi Axel,

When using any page that sits outside the forum directory (as I presume your portal is) you need to change the relative links in a style to absolute links.

ie: By default, the buttons path is /images/steelblue/buttons. Because your page is not in /forums/, it is looking for /root/images/steelblue/buttons/, which does not exist.

Go into your Style Manager and add http://www.domain.com/forums (or appropriate) to the paths in the style. Dont forget the gradients.

Kall...thank you very much for the hint.

A little suggestion: isn't it possible for you to use in the relative paths the variable $vboptions[bburl]/images/ so it would work in every configuration?

BTW: is there a fixed version of this style? I have some members who don't like "liquid" styles...

Great work...

The thing is, they are already variables.

eg: $stylevar[imgdir_button]/infraction.gif

To hardcode the path in any way would render it non-functional for some users, such as non-english speaking people, who may have renamed their images directory.

and, thank you!

Also, I think I could have been clearer in my instructions in this post.

Specifically, you need to choose 'Stylevars' from the dropdown next to the Style Name and look in the second section for the paths.

Hi Kall

I have a vbulletin forum 3.6.8 and i am using your steel blue style in its latest version.

The problem is that the welcome X user is missing...as i can see in the vbulletin.org forum others as well have the same problem!

Is there any chance for a fix to this problem?

Axel - Just change the main width setting in the Style to be a fixed value. There should be no problems.

Red-White: Did you install the Product file?

You haven't added your homepage to your profile, so I can't guess your URL to check it out.
